By making your (down) payment to the owner of the holiday home Maison Le Petit Four, hereinafter referred to as: the landlord, you confirm that you agree to the terms and conditions below.
You will hereinafter be referred to as: the tenant.
1. Reservations
1.1 Reservations can be made by email or via the contact form on the website. This reservation is only final after receipt of the deposit of 50% of the total rental amount within 2 weeks of booking.
1.2 The remaining rental amount must be paid 6 weeks before the arrival date. Bookings made within these 6 weeks require full payment of the rental amount.
1.3 In the event of cancellation of the reservation by the tenant, the cancellation policy applies in full (see point 2).
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 The tenant is advised to take out cancellation insurance. Once the reservation is confirmed and the first installment of 50% of the total rental amount is paid within two weeks, the rental is final, and no refund of the first installment is possible after cancellation. In the event of cancellation, the tenant must claim on their cancellation insurance. If the cancellation is made six weeks before the start of the stay, the full rental amount is due. Rebooking to another year is possible.
2.5 Tenants are advised to obtain their own cancellation insurance.
3. Tenant Liability.
3.1 During their stay in Maison Le Petit Four, the tenant is fully liable for the rented holiday home, its furnishings, and all items belonging to the rented property. Any damage caused by the tenant and/or their travel companions, as well as visitors, must be fully reimbursed to the landlord.
4. Liability of the Maison Le Four holiday home
4.1 The landlord cannot accept any liability for loss, theft, damage, or injury of any kind, caused to or by tenants, traveling companions, and/or visitors to the holiday home.
5. Dogs may be left alone in the cottage if they are able to do so. Puppies and adolescents who can still chew on furniture, walls, etc., may be left alone in a crate or puppy run, which we have available and lend out free of charge, if they are able to do so. Anyone who leaves their dogs alone and breaks something is liable for the damage and must report it immediately so we have the opportunity to resolve the issue for the next occupants.
